The Cool Globes eco-art project currently on display at Los Angeles’ Exposition Park, exhibits giant 5-foot by 7-foot globes decorated, painted, sculpted, and designed by artists, from the Blue Man Group to Jim Dine, with meaningful environmental messages. The collection, originally installed in Chicago in 2007, has toured San Francisco Golden Gate Park, Washington DC’s Botanical Gardens, and other towns with local additions. It arrived in Los Angeles on Earth Day this year, and will be there until the end of July, when it sets sail for London. ...
